The agency was founded in 2005 by environmentalist and public lands enthusiast, Christine Corwin. Having grown up in a small town in Maine, Christine developed a strong appreciation for the interconnectedness of environmental protection, thriving local economies and communities, outdoor recreation, and healthy, engaged youth. Her personal values and more than 12 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, such as National Parks Conservation Association, the Public Broadcasting Service, and California State Parks Foundation, inspired her to launch Green Source Consulting – one of the nation’s leading fundraising firms specifically focused on fundraising for sustainable communities, the environment, public lands, and youth.
During the past four years, Christine has successfully raised more than $10 million in foundation and government grant funding for her client organizations. She has a strong track-record developing successful grant proposals, creating fundraising plans for small to multi-million dollar projects, successfully positioning organizations and their programs to attract funding, and working with organizations to establish the internal systems needed for fundraising success.
